Sinn Féin Says Budget Is "Kicking" Rural Areas When They're Down

A number of new measures on fuel and cigarette came into force overnight.

The government's approach to Budget 2021 is to kick people in rural areas when they're down.

That's according to Sinn Féin TD for Longford-Westmeath Sorca Clarke.

She believes the Carbon Tax increase in particular is punishing rural people who can't afford electric cars, along with a disappointing Budget regarding housing:
