Tullamore Councillor, Aoife Masterson, has been selected to contest for a spot in the three-seat constituency, pending Ard Comharile ratification.
Ms. Masterson secured a seat on Offaly County Council in the most recent Local Elections after being elected on the fourth count in the Tullamore area.
Taking to social media after being selected to contest the General Election, she says she's "excited and ready to take on the challenge."
