A midlands government TD says while it's "probable" Sinn Féin will have 60 seats, a General Election is still at least a year away.
The latest Sunday Independent/ Ireland Thinks poll has found the only "viable" next government is a Sinn Féin/ Fianna Fáil coalition.
The same poll found Mary Lou McDonald's party remains the most popular in the country, at 33%, while Fine Gael climbed two points to 21%.
