This Christmas, ALONE are asking people to be aware of the pain and suffering caused by lonliness.
Over 3,800 older people in the midlands have availed of services from the older persons charity in 2023.
The national organisation will deliver over 1,000 Christmas dinners to older people this Christmas Day.
They're asking the public to make sure older people are staying warm, that they have enough food and medicines and to make time for a simple chat.
