Sinn Fein is looking to replace the Laois-Offaly TD with Mairead Farrell.
The Public Accounts Committee is meeting for the first time this morning following the resignation of Brian Stanley from Sinn Fein.
The Laois-Offaly Deputy was the chair of the PAC and the party has nominated Mairead Farrell to replace him, but this is expected to be met with opposition.
It's unclear if Mr. Stanley will appear at the Committee this morning.
