Students in the Midlands don't have to travel far for STEM opportunities - that's according to the Dream Big programme coordinator.
DREAMBIG uses hands-on activities to introduce them to careers in sectors like Robotics, Engineering and Manufacturing.
Just under 100 students took part in this year's week-long programme - following its pilot in 2023 - and is organised by the Advanced Technologies in Manufacturing Cluster.
It consists of local authorities, TUS Midlands and Irish Manufacturing Research - with the 2025 programme looking to develop sustainability in technology.
