Ireland's Weather Channel is predicting potentially dangerous travelling conditions.
Strong winds are expected across four counties which come under a yellow weather alert today.
The warning comes into effect for Dublin, Waterford, Wexford and Wicklow from 11 o'clock this morning.
Objects could become loose, power lines affected and travelling conditions will be difficult in the gusty conditions which are set to last until 5 o'clock this evening.
