Over 65,000 students sat the Leaving Certificate exams this year.
Our Leaving Certificate students were hard working, friendly and they will be missed.
Those are the thoughts of Dunamese College Principal Dympna Kelly as the sixth year students in the Portlaoise school received their Leaving Certificate results today.
Over 65,000 students sat the exams across the country and will now wait for the course points, which are set to be released on Wednesday.
Ms Kelly says the school wishes all their students the best in their futures:

Clonaslee College's Clodaigh Kennedy managed to get the maximum amount of 625 points and will be studying Mathematics at Trinity College Dublin.
She says her best advice to Leaving Cert students is to keep consistent:
