The Laois man is encouraging people to stop making excuses and find a way to achieve their dreams.
Supervet Noel Fitzpatrick is urging people to follow their dreams after completing the London Marathon yesterday.
He says everything is impossible until it happens and while, there are great excuses not to do everything, you won't achieve your dreams if you make excuses.
The Laois man says he trained at midnight because he wanted to complete the event for his own mental health.
He believes you have to seek out opportunities to grow and even when you ‘hit the wall’ and your body won’t do what you want it to - that’s a magnificent life lesson.
The TV star from Ballyfin shared in a social media post that he hits the wall in his professional life as a vet all the time - when biology or indeed business won’t work the way he had hoped.
He's encouraging everyone to aim "impossibly high and when your body or your circumstances don’t let you win - you learn the most important lesson of all - YOU are all you’ve got."
Mr. Fitzpatrick says believe in yourself, "even if your own body does not - and if no ‘body’ else does either, begrudgers begone and aim for the stars".
He says if you want something badly enough you will find a way, just like he did yesterday.
