Simon Harris is praising Rosenallis National School for their award win at the VEX Robotics World Championships.
The Tanaiste is congratulating a Laois school on its achievements on the robotics world stage.
Team 'RNS Robotics' from Rosenallis National School won a judges' award at the recent VEX World Robotics championships in Saint Louis.
Simon Harris says for the team to pick up an award against 420 other teams competing across 50 countries is a 'remarkable accomplishment.'
He pointed out the win was even more inspiring coming from a school with just four teachers.
The school's principal, Rory Walsh, teacher Aaron McKessy, and Laois County Council's STEM Officer Seanie Morris were also highlighted by the Tanaiste for their dedication to helping the team reach the world stage.
