Those Who Drink And Drive Should Be "Ashamed" Says Midlands Mum

She lost her son in a crash in 2009.

An Offaly mum, who lost her  24-year-old son in a road crash, says people who drink and drive should be ashamed of themselves. 

Christina Donnelly's son Brendan died in the collision in Cork in 2009. 

The driver of the other car was jailed after he was found to be under the influence of alcohol and drugs.

Nationally, 140 people have been arrested so far for drink or drug driving offences over the Easter weekend.
