Thousands Of Farmers To Receive Delayed Payment By Next Month

The ACRES Scheme has a €1.5b budget to support farmers.

Thousands of farmers will get their overdue ACRES payments in the middle of next month.

The Department of Agriculture confirmed the move after those on the ACRES Co-op scheme were left waiting months for a payment initially due in December.

ACRES has so far delivered €88.4m of a €1.5b budget to support farmers in protecting bio-diversity in Ireland.
