Three men will appear in court this morning after a number of weapons were discovered in a car in the midlands at the weekend.
Gardai stopped and searched a car on the Athlone Road in Ballymahon at approximately 11:45pm on Sunday evening.
Two men in the 20s and a male teenager were arrested at the scene and were taken to a Longford Garda station.
They will appear before Longford District Court at around 10:30am this morning in relation to the seizure.
