A Laois town has graduated from the Tidy Towns competition to the international stage.
Abbeyleix Tidy Towns have been awarded the Five Blooms Silver Award at the 2025 Communities in Bloom International Symposium and Awards in Ontario, Canada.
A committee representing the group, along with members of Laois County Council also won recognition for the Abbeyleix Community Garden by claiming the Outstanding Achievement Award for International Community Involvement.
