Too Good To Be True Could Mean Fraud Say Midlands Gardaí

Over €25m was lost in Ireland last year to investment fraud.

If something seems too good to be true, then you shouldn't trust it.

That's the advice from the Laois Offaly Crime Prevention Officer as over €25m was lost to investment fraud in Ireland last year.

Gardaí say they have seen an increase in the instances of fraud, and the primary victims are those who are retired on a pension.
