He passed away yesterday after a crash in Laois.
Tributes are being to the midlands teenager who died in a crash in Laois.
Daragh Lee, from Mountmellck, passed away in the Midlands Regional Hospital in Portlaoise yesterday.
Mountmellick FC posted on Facebook "Like everyone else who knew Daragh, we’re still finding it hard to take in the tragic news of his untimely passing. A soccer fanatic, Daragh represented us with pride and distinction for many years and is fondly remembered by the club as someone who always gave his all but more importantly was a super teammate and role model. His dad Mark is a frequent presence in Conor Davis Park and to Mark and all Daragh’s family and friends we extend our most heartfelt sympathy.
There will be a minute silence at the Mountmellick FC Senior men's and ladies fixtures today for Daragh.
