A Mullingar music promoter says he had great music knowledge.
Tributes are being paid to veteran broadcaster Larry Gogan.
The 85 year old, who had been ill in recent years, has died, after working with RTÉ for over 50 years.
He's been described as a legend and a national institution - best known for working with 2fm and his Just a Minute Quiz.
