Irish troops on peacekeeping missions in the Middle East won't be able to return home on leave during the coronavirus outbreak.

It's after Lebanon and Syria imposed restrictions on people travelling from countries hit by COVID-19.

Over five hundred troops are involved in peacekeeping efforts across two UN missions in the countries.
