A man was reported to be armed with a knife during a robbery in a shop in Co Kildare yesterday.
At about 11 o'clock in the morning, two men entered a shop in Nurney and threatened staff.
They fled the scene with a sum of cash and some tobacco.
The gardaí later arrested two men, in their 30s, and recovered some of the stolen items.
Both men have been charged and are due to appear before Naas District Court today.
