The building has been shut in response.
Two cases of Covid-19 have been confirmed at the Department of Public Expenditure and Reform building in Tullamore.
The first case was identified on Sunday and a second staff member tested positive for the illness on Tuesday.
The building, on the Clonminch Road, has undergone a deep cleaning and has been closed until further notice.
