They were among 6 people arrested yesterday after a series of searches in the eastern region.
€100,000 worth of drugs which had been seized by Gardaí went missing from an evidence locker in early 2024.
The serving Garda is being held by members of the Garda anti-corruption unit.
A man in his 30s and a woman in her 40s are being held in the midlands, while another man is being questioned in the east.
2 other men were released without charge.
