Ferbane's Gráinne Kenny bumped into the star at the airport.
One the UK's most successful singers has been congratulating GAA clubs in Offaly on their success over the weekend.
Febane became the Offaly Senior Football Champions for first time in 25 years on Sunday - and Naomh Ciarán Ladies booked a spot in the Leinster Intermediate Football Final.
Gráinne Kenny from Ferbane bumped into Scottish singer-songwriter Lewis Capaldi at the airport and seized the opportunity.
Despite struggling with his Irish, he passed on his well wishes:
She got to sit beside international singer Lewis Capaldi on a Ryan Air flight heading to Scotland.
Grainne Kenny met the singer by chance at the airport and says she spoke to him about music gigs such as Traditube and Electric Picnic.
She says he was very nice and chatty:
Shoutout to @NaomhCiaranLGFA and @ferbanegaa on their wins this weekend from myself and my good pal @LewisCapaldi on our way back to sunny Glasgow 💚 HON THE TOWN pic.twitter.com/yLz4DF8kTA
