Ukrainian Refugees Have Begun Moving Into Former Midlands Convent

Around 40 people attended a protest against housing refugees at the former convent last Friday.

Ukrainian refugees have begun moving into a former midlands convent.

25 women and children arrived at the former Sisters of Mercy Convent in Kilcormac yesterday evening, at around 7pm.

A further 15 are expected to arrive before the weekend.
