Laois, Offaly and Westmeath are currently under a Status Orange Wind Warning as Storm Bram hit the country this morning.
Over 54,000 homes, farms and businesses are without power, with ESB Networks saying the majority of the power outages are in Cork, Tipperary, Wexford, Limerick and Kildare.
