US Troops Numbers On The Rise At Shannon Airport

Over 3,600 American troops have passed through the airport since the Iran war began.

A midlands security analyst is warning Ireland could be set to face difficult decisions if the US separates from Western Europe. 

It comes as US troop numbers at Shannon surged by 80% as a result of the Iran war.

3,604 troops have travelled through Shannon since the war began in March, according to The Irish Times.
