There was 2-3 weeks of work left to complete before covid-19 hit.
A Westmeath primary school - which was due to be built last year - is facing further delays.
Over ten completion dates have now been missed for the new Holy Family National School in Curraghmore, Mullingar.
The site was closed in March due to covid-19 restrictions, with 2-3 weeks of work left to complete - but reopened on May 18th.
Lisa Duffy - one of the parents involved - says there's no reason why the contractors weren't ready to complete the project when construction resumed.
Another progress report on the project is due to be issued on July 5th.
Lisa says their patience has run out - and they desperately need the school to be ready for September:
