Resevoir repair works are underway near Castlepollard.
People in Westmeath have lost their water supply due to issues at a resevoir in the county.
Repair works are underway at Ballany Resevoir, serving customers in Castlepollard, Coole, St Tola's National School, and Delvin.
The problem is expected to be resolved by 4pm today.
However Uisce Eireann is warning people that it may take three to four hours for the network to refill and for normal water pressure to be restored, particularly for customers on higher ground or at the end of the network.
