Waterways Ireland Seeking Suggestions For Their Climate Action Plan

They aim to halve their emissions while doubling energy efficiency by 2030.

People in the midlands are being asked to help shape Waterways Ireland's Climate Action Plan. 

The cross-border navigation authority is looking for ideas on how to cut emissions in half while doubling energy efficiency by 2030.

Coverting their machinery to electric or hybrid, using alternative fuel sources and renewable energy procurement are all options being considered currently.
