The body has extended its consultation period, and introduced a second phase.
Waterways Ireland is being asked to engage with the public in a meaningful way on their proposed revisions to canal bye-laws.
The public consultation period has been extended until October 27th, with a second phase due in January.
The revisions would have an impact on the Grand Canal, the Royal Canal and the Barrow Navigation, as well as proposed changes to the Shannon Navigation bye-laws.
