Westmeath Businesses At Risk Of Closure Due To Recurring Water Restrictions

One business person says there's no proper explanation for the regular disruptions.

Recurring disruptions to water supply in Westmeath are putting businesses at risk of closure.

That's the warning from Ken Robinson from Kafe U in Athlone, who says supply is being regularly cut off without prior notification.

He says it's been a recurring issue for the last five years - with no explanation from Irish Water or Westmeath County Council or indication that a long-term solution will be found:
