Gardaí say their enquiries are ongoing into the fire at Athlone's Poppy Fields Cafe.
A Westmeath business has had to close its doors after a fire was started on its premises over the weekend.
Poppy Fields Cafe in Athlone says a fire was started near their bins on Saturday night causing damage to their exterior wall and side deck roof.
The Cafe is thanking the emergency services that attended the scene.
The blaze was extinguished by Athlone Fire and Rescue Service, while the scene has been examined by Gardaí.
Gardaí say their enquiries are ongoing, wile Poppy Fields say they hope to be back open in "a couple of days".
