FINE in Athlone made the announcement on social media this week, with an exact closing date yet to be decided.

The cafe and specialist food shop has been in business for almost six years and had recently reduced its opening times to five days a week.

Posting on Facebook, owner Ciaran and the staff thanked their customers and are encouraging people to drop by while they still can.
