Westmeath Candidate Keeps Seanad Seat

Fianna Fail had three candidates elected last night along with one Independent.

A Westmeath man is among three Fianna Fail Candidates elected to the Seanad last night. 

Kilbeggan's Paul Daly maintains his seat, along with Niall Blaney and Denis O'Donovan and Independent Victor Boyhan  after exceeding the quota.

Eleven candidates from the ballot will be elected with the quota at over 94,000.

Counting is continuing with restrictions in place to promote social distancing.
