Delvin and Moate will receive the funding.
Over €1.7 million is set to go to two Westmeath towns for large scale community projects.
Delvin is getting over €1 million to fund a Community Enterprise Hub through the Rural Regeneration Fund, which will also go towards a new town park and market square.
While Moate receives over €780,000 for their Town Centre First plan.
