10 homes were originally made available.
Applications are now being welcomed by Westmeath County Council for the last available home in the first phase of an affordable housing scheme.
Through the Affordable Purchase Scheme, Westmeath County Council provides access to newly built homes at reduced prices for First Time Buyers and Fresh Start applicants who cannot secure sufficient mortgage and deposit funds to meet the full market price.
10 homes were made available for purchase by successful applicants at an affordable reduced price in May, with the development including a selection of 2-bedroom for €275,000 and €315,000 for a 3-bedroom property.
Westmeath County Council is reopening the application portal for the remaining unallocated 2-bedroom semi-detached house.
