Westmeath Family Praise Work Of Crumlin After Fundraiser

The Dixon family's tractor run in Killucan raised €6,000 euro in aid of its services.

A Westmeath family is praising the work of Crumlin after their tractor run fundraiser last month for its services raised €6,000.

Killucan's Dylan Dixon first developed a throat infection in 2012 when he was just a two and half years old, and was later diagnosed with rheumatoid arthritis

His care for the condition as a child and into his teens came from Crumlin, with the family holding various fundraisers over the years.

 The event also raised funds for the paedatric unit in Mullingar and comes as Children's Health Foundation continue their 'Save A Smile campaign for children who use their services over the festive period.
