Westmeath Footballer Opens Up About Experience With Addiction

He's been speaking less than a week after triumph in Croke Park.

A Westmeath footballer says he wants to be as healthy as possible and stay sober for the rest of his life. 

Luke Loughlin has been speaking about his addiction to drink and drugs after winning the Tailteann Cup last weekend. 

The 27 year old sought treatment last July for his addiction. 

He says he was told by a doctor that he had the liver of a 60 year old.
