The mother of a 5 year old Westmeath girl who developed a cancerous tumor is encouraging the men of the midlands to get involved in 'Movember'.
The annual event to raise funds for cancer charities will take place throughout the month - asking men to go without shaving and grow their facial hair.
An event will then take place in Clarke's Bar in Mullingar on 30th November, where the beards and moustaches will be shaved off.
