The owner of a hairdressing business in Westmeath is confident the industry can re-open sooner rather than later if strict guidelines are adhered to.
Hair salons won't reopen until Phase 4 of the government's roadmap, on July 20th, because they aren't deemed essential services.
But the Irish Hairdressers' Federation wants salons to be moved into Phase 3 of the plan, which is due to kick in from June 29th.
