A Westmeath hotel owner says it's difficult to see a return to normality.

He's casting doubts over the possibility of erecting perspex screens or patrons sitting two metres apart and wearing face masks.

Ray Byrne from the Wineport in Glasson says they're looking at how other countries are adapting to a changed dining experience, in the wake of coronavirus.

99% of his bookings have been cancelled.
