The latest round of funding for next year's Tidytowns sees a total of €113,000 heading to the midlands.
Westmeath have emerged as the best funded in the region with 34 groups getting a total of €45,000.
25 groups in Laois, including this year's overall winner, Abbeyleix, will be receiving €34,000, and the same amount is heading to 24 different Tidytowns bodies in Offaly.
Nationally, the Department of Rural and Community Development is providing between 1 and 4 thousand euro for eligible TidyTowns groups across the country to the tune of €1.5m.
