A Westmeath man is climbing the highest mountain in the UK & Ireland to raise vital funds for his neighbour.
Johnny Keegan will complete the ascent of Ben Nevis in Scotland on behalf of Gareth Hayes, who received news of an inoperable brain tumour in Febuary.
The fundraiser had an inital target of €1,500 but has accumulated almost double that so far.
