Westmeath One Of 11 Counties With No Dementia Day Care Services

The Alzheimer Society of Ireland is requesting €15 million euro in Budget 2022 to source and equip facilities.

The government is being called upon to provide funding for those unable to receive dementia care in the midlands. 

Westmeath is one of 11 counties without Alzheimers day services, due to adaptations required under Covid-19 guidelines.
