Westmeath Poet Up For Awards At Red Line Book Festival

James Anthony will be presenting his work during this week's festival.

A Westmeath poet has shortlisted for multiple awards at the Red Line Book Festival.

Athlone's James Anthony's poems Schooner and Washer-Up are nominated for awards and the poet will present his work during the festival on Wednesday at the Poetry Night and Poetry Awards.

Award winning poet Aifric Mac Aodha is set to judge the competition entries. 

The event will be held at Castletymon Library in Dublin at 6:00pm, where the winners will be revealed.
