Westmeath Publican Wants To See Customers Back At The Counter

The owner of Gilleran's Pub feels the hospitality sector is baring the brunt of the restrictions.

A midlands publican says the industry has been "destroyed" by the Government and Covid. 

Mullingar's Liam Gilleran wants pubs to be allowed open up fully and says customers should to be allowed to return to the bar counter. 

13 pubs in both Offaly and Laois and six in Westmeath closed their doors for good between January 2020 and September this year.
