A former Army Ranger believes moving Irish soldiers from Lebanon could prove more dangerous than leaving them as is.
Around 350 members of the Defence Forces are in the country, along with 150 Irish citizens.
The Tánaiste says the State can't unilaterally pull Irish soldiers out of Lebanon, and Independent Kildare South TD, Cathal Berry, agrees with that assessment:
