Works To Alleviate Flooding Issues On Laois Golf Course

Drainage work will take place after flooding along the golf links road.

Works are due to take place to alleviate flooding at a Laois golf course this summer.

Councillor John King drew attention to the issue Golf Links road in Rathdowney, and flooding on the course as a result.

Following a visit to the area by Laois County Council engineers,  minor works will be done along the course, and a drain will be installed in the ditch.

Fine Gael Councillor King says the club is a great amenity for the area:
