A young girl living with an extremely rare diagnosis will receive major surgery in November.
One year old Robyn Neville Quinn is living with Wiskott-Aldrich Syndrome, which leads to dangerously low platelet levels and she needs a bone marrow transplant in London.
A fundraiser has been set up to support Robyn and her parents, Meagan and Adam, who are originally from Portarlington, and has so far raised over £22,000, of a £50,000 target.
The procedure will be covered by the NHS with the funds raised to be used for other costs over the recovery period.
In a Facebook post confirming the news, Ms Quinn thanked people for their support and says this is a 'major step forward' for their daughter.
