Ava O'Connor also broke an 18 year-old club record during the weekend.
Tullamore Harrier Ava O'Connor picked up a bronze medal over 800m at the National U20 championships in Santry on Sunday.
O'Connor was less than a second behind silver medalist Maeve O'Neill, running a time of 2:12s.
The performance came just 24 hours after O'Connor broke an 18 year old club record for the mile, clocking a time of 4:55.
That was in the heats for the senior women's mile in which her clubmate Ruby Stueven also finished in third place.
