The Downs had plenty of complications on their way to this weekend's Leinster Senior Football Final.

The Downs are counting the days as they enter into the week of the Leinster Senior Football final.

After they emerged from a thrilling contest against Ratoath, Portarlington were dispatched by Kilmacud Crokes with the minimum of fuss to set up Sunday's decider.

Lar Wall's side didn't have a straight forward journey to Croker through their county championship campaign with injuries to key players and many on the panel being dual-code players.
